Hyperloop UPV is a company working on the development of 100% ecological and sustainable transport that facilitates mobility without harming the environment. It also collaborates with the VCF Innovation Hub, which supports promising businesses such as that which looks to revolutionise transport.
María Cuesta, Project Manager of the Hyperloop UPV sponsorship department, and company Captain, Ferran de Andrés Vert, talk about some of the plans and objectives established for the coming years.
Hyperloop UPV works on the design, development and validation of hyperloop prototypes that bring the transport of the future closer to reality.
“Sustainable transport is possible thanks to this system of capsules that magnetically levitate inside a tube. It is an electric means of transport, for passengers and cargo, that combines the high speeds of an aeroplane with the comfort and agility of a train,” they explain.
The promising project has received the backing of the VCF Innovation Hub, which brings together startups, experience and expertise.
"For us, this collaboration is very important; not only for all the benefits and visibility that come with collaborating with an entity like Valencia CF. This collaboration means joining forces with something deeply rooted in our region. It is a way of vindicating our origins and showing that in Valencia we are looking towards the future," say the Hyperloop representatives.
"Right now, we are very focused on our current prototype, which will be unveiled shortly. We are very focused on scalability and the impact that the implementation of Hyperloop will have. We believe that technology is useless if it doesn't reach people."
"Being part of this Innovation Hub gives us the opportunity to exchange impressions with companies that, in one way or another, seek to create improved and sustainable future. It opens a door to the world of work that makes us think that what is done internally within the team can see the light in the real world. We are fortunate to be part of this."
